The caster charges himself with magical lightning that he may release at a target. The caster may release one line of lightning from his fingers with a standard action, which requires a ranged touch attack to hit. These lines of lightning deal 1d6 damage per a caster level (maximum 10d6.) This spell charges the caster with one line of lightning for every five caster levels he has. These lines of lightning may be released at any time before the spell’s duration expires, but only one line may be released in a round.
