Kilinar

Kilinars are feared even among demons. In deep, dark places of the demon infested planes their wait, slow, inactive but dangerous. They kill imps and lesser demons that fall to their waiting clutches. While they actually eat very little, Kilinars have a hunger that is unmatched. It is said that they wait until they reach a material plane, full of prey waiting for the taking.

Kilinars are large, red creatures covered with huge yellow spikes. Their eyes are tiny in comparison, but still about as large as a dog. One has been known to make its way into this world, it is said that it destroyed three cities and an army before finally falling. An entire civilization died as a result of the attack, and with its dying words the Kilinar prophesied that there would be more to come.

Breath Attack: A cone of fire that deals 35d6 fire damage.

Smash: Kilinars ignore hardness when attacking an object.

Swallow Whole: The Kilinar can try to swallow a grabbed opponent of Huge or smaller size by making a successful grapple check. Once inside, the opponent takes 2d8+8 points of crushing damage plus 2d8+6 points of acid damage per round from the Kilinar’s digestive juices. A swallowed creature can cut its way out by dealing 50 points of damage to the Kilinar’s digestive tract (AC 25). Once the creature exits, muscular action closes the hole; another swallowed opponent must cut its own way out. The Kilinar’s gullet can hold an infinite number of creatures, it is in realty a pocket dimension.

Telepathy: A Kilinar can communicate telepathically with any creature within 100 feet that has a language.
