Silven
Beings made out of what appear to be pure quicksilver, the Silven are constructs designed for espionage. They obey the commands of their creators so long as they live, but once their creators die they are free to develop personalities and emotions of their own. Silvens are shapeshifters, able to kill and impersonate humanoids. More malevolent spellcasters have used them to take over communities, assassinating political leaders and taking their place. Silvens tend to stalk their prey, learning all they can about their habits and mannerisms before killing them.
A Silven’s natural form is that of humanoid, melting quicksilver. However, they usually only take this form when fighting, preferring to remain in a humanoid form as often as possible. Usually, a creator will feed a human to a Silven as soon as it is created, to give it a standard form.

Absorb: With a successful grapple attack, a Silven can melt itself onto its victim and stay there so long as the grapple is maintained. Any attacks made against the Silven are also made against the victim so long as the grapple is maintained. Every round, the victim takes 2d10 acid damage and the Silven heals the same amount. Any creature who is killed by this attack’s body is destroyed, but the Silven can access its equipment as a standard action, pulling it from its liquid body.
Poison: With a successful touch attack, a Silven can inflict a creature with a poison, fortitude save DC 18, initial and secondary damage paralysis.
Transform: As a standard action, a Silven can assume the form of any medium-sized humanoid creature it has killed with its absorb ability. This gives the Silven a +10 to disguise checks to impersonate that creature.
