Greater Spell
Prerequisite: Ability to cast ninth level spells.
Benefit: The caster may use metamagic feats to bring a spell’s level about level nine. The caster continues counting spell levels above level nine, just as though there were more spell level beyond that. The caster must sacrifice a ninth level spell slot and another spell equal to the new level of the spell, minus nine, times two. So, if the metamagic feat would bring the spell level up to thirteen, the caster must give up a ninth level spell and an eighth level spell.
