Virgilin
The Virgilin are humanoid-like plant monsters that are predators in jungles, swamps and other heavily plant-infested areas. They appear as humanoids made from thick moss, leaves and vines. They hunt warm-blooded creatures, but are particularly fond of humanoid flesh. They are known for enjoying the act of torturing, and are often tempted to torment their prey before eating it.
Virgilin also require access to sunlight to survive, and must spend a total of six hours a day motionless in direct sunlight. While doing this, red pedals open up from under their first layer of vegetation. A Virgilin does not need to take in all this sunlight at once, so long as it gets a total of six hours a day. If desperate, a Virgilin can go as long as two days without sunlight, but it gets progressively sicker until it dies.
Virgilin can produce a group of small plant sacks filled with spores. These are the equivalent of eggs, and when they are old enough their parents brings a humanoid to them. The humanoid is then forced to inhale the spores. The spores are the equivalent of an inhaled poison, fortitude DC 20, 1d6 constitution damage. Each sack can produce spores for five minutes. If a creature is killed from these spores, they take root in the body, and grow and overcome the humanoid. In a week, the body has become a fully grown Virgilin.

Acid Spray: Once every 1d4 minutes, a Virgilin can release a line of acid 15 feet long. The acid deals 8d6 acid damage, reflex save 18 for half.
Spell-Like Abilities: 3/Day Blur, Cure Moderate Wounds (self only) 1/Day Fireball. All spells have a DC of 16+spell level. All spells are cast as an 8th level caster.
