Polycurse Item
This can be added to any magical item as a safety measure be the creator. The creator must create a password, which must be spoken whenever the item is picked up or touched in such a way that it could be used (pulling a sword out of its scabbard, putting on a magical ring, etc.) If the word is not spoken, the person holding the item in question is affected by a “Baleful Polymorph” spell, as though the creator cast it. The creator chooses the animal upon creating the item.
