The Map of Everything

The Map of Everything is an artifact that was built for armies and strategists. The map constantly shows all landmarks, geography and permanent civilizations within one hundred miles in all directions of the user. All of these details are labeled with their generally accepted name in the area, translated into whatever language the user speaks. With a thought, the user can zoom in and reduce the range of the map. This allows for a greater level of detail.

Non-permanent civilizations, such as camps, do not appear on the map. General information can also be gained by zooming in on a civilization, such as language, race of inhabitants, major imports and exports and number of inhabitants (rounded.) However, the map is as vulnerable to fire as a normal sheet of paper.
